Can you beleive we are almost finished with our first study?!? I have thoroughly enjoyed taking this journey with you all. Our next study will be a Charles Stanley title; 'Developing a Servant's Heart'. I have created a link from the blog title that will take you to the ChristianBooks.com listing of the book.

The new study begins on September 18th, 2008 at our regular Hospice Ministry Home Group.

Lesa has added a new document to the 'Hospice Documents' area titled 'New Jersey Hospice Care Providers List'. Scroll down the page and you will see it as well as several other files on the right side. This document lists Hospice Care providers with their phone numbers, organized by county.

The New Jersey Hospice and Palliative Care Organization is hosting the Seventh Annual Statewide Conference for Hospice Volunteer.

Care Alternatives is is a sponsor of the event and Betty is teaching the course 'Self Care of the Volunteer'. Additionally, Care Alternatives is sponsoring up to 40 volunteers - if you are planning to attend, please contact Randie at Care Alternatives ASAP.

John and Carol's daughter-in-law Kristina gave birth to a healthy 7 lb. 2 oz. baby boy at 8:20 pm on May 19, 2008.

Circle of Life Hospice hosts Baseball Outing

Circle of Life Children's Center is taking us out to the ball game! This charity event will raise funds for our partner hospice care provider Circle of Life Children's Center. COLCC provides hospice care for our younger patients; in utero to 21 years of age.

When: Thursday, June 19, 2008 @ 7:00 pm
Where: Commerce Bank Ballpark

Admission is $10.00 per ticket of which $5.00 will benefit COLCC directly. You can download the flyer / form HERE (or by clicking this blog's title).

Hey everyone. After speaking with quite a few of you about the Caravan / Car pool - it appears most folks will be driving themselves directly to the Hotel.
